I am bringing you up to date with the roll top.  It is now the 21st of March and  I have completed the work on the top shelf and added bull nosed moulding to the top shelf and to the desk top.  I have also started work on the pigeon hole unit.  A new back has been completed with quartern sawn white oak veneer,  and some of the small drawers are being repaired due to delamination and some structual problems.  enGenerally, the pigeon  hole unit is in pretty good shape.

Another week has passed.  Haven't done too much because of other critical projects I need to finish before my road trip to Texas.  I have started clean up (oxalic acid rinses) in prep for finish on some parts.  I have also started building a new center knee hole drawer.  Will be starting repairs to the tambour unit today.  Hope to have it finished in a couple days.

Several weeks have gone by.  I returned from my trip to Texas and have essentially finished the desk.  Just some final finishing touches: drawer dividers, ect.  I have included a photo of the completed desk.
